Practice Wheel Application for rider Safety
The practice wheel is provided to help ensure rider Safety on the track during practice times. It is placed on the front of the tower. HRMC Staff controls the flow of the Clock.
The 3 segment clock represents 20 minute practice every hour on the hour.
The 4 segment practice wheel indicates 15 minute practice on the hour.
This is controlled by HRMC staff for the day as seen necessary.
The 3 segment Practice wheel will run on normal days until rider classes exceed 35 riders per class.
Once this happens the 4 segment wheel comes into place and is broke down into 15 minute practice.
This is every hour on the hour. (1 practice per hour.)
This is for the posted classes on the clock.
If the other sharing classes are not available for that time period, the other classes lengthen into equal segments. (EX: big bike and quads attending each class goes to ½ hr each.)
During your wait time for the next moto on the MX track, the open trail ride is available for extended riding.
You then can come back into your scheduled time for moto practice.
The clocks could move from 3 segments to 4 segments throughout the day depending on practice population for that day.
Pee wees have their own practice track. This is available throughout the day.
The clock will apply to the minis in the same manner on their own track.
Please note under no circumstances will the big bikes be with little bike classes.
Atv’s will not share a practice ride with any bikes and vice versa.
All classes will have their own practice as indicated on the practice wheel.
Proper rider bands must be worn on wrist. HRMC Staff will be checking Bands for access to their class on the mx track.
Mx Track fees include open ride area.
The Open ride area does not include the mx track. You can upgrade if you wish. Please see Park Staff for upgrade Bands.
“Grab a Flag Save a Life program” is supported by HRMC and Flags are available for your use. Please if you are just watching and out on the track. Grab a Flag and help with Safety Flagging. Everyone counts, let’s all try and do our part to make this the safest track it can be.
